Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
